The fifth of my icons with Saint George and the dragon is inspired by a Romanian icon on glass painted - I presume - in one of the old iconography schools in Transylvania/Romania. I painted it in reverse, transferring the design this time, and the chromatic colours, from glass to acrylic on wood panel.
As a comparison, in my exhibition, the viewers can enjoy both styles of painting with the same root of inspiration.
