Here is an icon on glass. It is a small detail from a grand mural from Bistrița Monastery in Neamț County, Romania, a place known all around the world for its majestic iconography work.
By painting this subject on glass while respecting the chromatic of the original mural, I have given it a new dimension on a smaller scale. The frame and the protective back of the icon were made from recycled Victorian boards, finished with varnish and polished with beeswax.
