A Story in Six Words
Featuring Works by Peter Allen, Lyndy Moles, Katie Hobbs and Rosemary Lawrey

Katie Hobbs
Katie works from her studio in St Helens. Katie's priority in art is that it should be fun. She loves vibrant colour and bold images. She experiments compulsively, breaking rules and forging her own artistic path. Her contributions to A Story in Six Words include ceramics (among these a wabi-sabi-style broken and gilded bowl), big vibrant mixed media and acrylic canvases, with a tribute to fellow rebel Frida Kahlo. Joy and colour are the unifying theme in Katie's stories in six words (gallery in progress).
Peter Allen
Peter Allen is a dedicated landscape artist, filling sketchbook after sketchbook as he travels both urban and natural environments. His work is highly sought-after by locals and visitors alike. His stories in six words embody sensory impressions of being outdoors in the landscape - the scent and the feel of a forest in autumn, or an exposed ancient track, or of standing in front of an imposing London building (gallery in progress).
Rosemary Lawrey
Rosemary Lawrey presents six oil paintings at The Art of Wonder. The one-word title of each combine to tell her story of the mystery and movement of watching for those elusive chimeras, the eels that live in a local lake (gallery in progress).
Lyndy Moles
Lyndy Moles loves to create artist books and for A Story in Six Words, she has combined miniature books with drawing to create fun 3D artworks with a message (gallery in progress).
